Recap

Typing away in my own blog feels a bit weird. Has it been five months since I've been neglecting this baby, eh? To make up for the late update of my blog. Let's do a recap! :)

shoes sponsored by my ever dearest sister

1. Finally managed to join a run. Though I did not prepare for this run I finished it, still smiling as I stepped in the finish line. Forced my friend to queue to all the freebies and ending up listening to her rants inside the car. HAHA! Bakit ba first time eh. :P

Our darling, our angel, our joy

2. My super adorable (well, siyempre in our eyes. hehe) turned one! We organized her party, which I think was a success. She was happy that day. As well as her mother.

3. Our first year anniversary! Yeah, we made it. Barely. HAHA! Thank God, the distance did not manage to kill us.

First set up. Ella's 5th  birthday

Second set up. My friend's wedding

Third set up. At Crib's Foundation, outreach program.
Fourth set up. Lola's birthday.

4. We put up a business. Yay! Yay! Late last year, my best friend and I put up a business and named it SweetBits by DanneL. Basically it's a candy/chocolate buffet set up complete with a theme of the party. We really feel mature having this baby, and as of the moment we already served five clients. All of which I guess are satisfied.

Congratulations, Anjo and Angel

5. Another friend got hitched! *throws confetti* The same time we put up our business, Len (my best friend) and I managed to help our friend at her wedding. We literally handled all what was needed. From the flowers, gown fitting, souvenir hunting, doing the entourage's makeup, and yes, even the wedding car. Haha! But we were so happy with the outcome. Most of the guest love the idea of our DIY flowers posted above. And, oh, Len even made the chocolate as a wedding favor.

Yeah!

6. My first ever mini-book signing. Yes, with tarpaulin talaga. Let me tell you a bit of a back story of how did it happened. I think it was late in February when Miss Emelyn called me. She's the marketing manager of Precious Pages. I answered the call half-awake, half-asleep because I was night shift at my job by that time. When asked if I was willing to do a book signing, I agreed. Then as the date draw nearer, I was getting nervous. :/ What if no one comes? :( Gladly, my friends came! HAHAHAHA!

Happiest birthday, Lola!

7. My Lola celebrated her 85th birthday! And it was the most memorable weekend ever! Happiest day of my grandmother's birthday, I guess. She was crying because it was a really a surprise for her.

There! Until the next recap! HAHA
