Goodbye, Sagada :(

And how can you end telling someone on how fun your trip turned out to be? How? How?

Okay, the fun ended in our third day. We had to leave Sagada, we had to go back to our world of reality. :( Despite the aching body that we had we still didn't want to leave Sagada. Hindi pa kami handa sa init. But, oh, well, we don't have a choice, do we? So the third day, did I again mentioned that our body ached? Oh, yes! :) We pushed ourselves to wake up at 4 in the morning to catch the first trip which is at 5 am. But the first trip to Baguio left us, ay, hindi pala, puno na ng dumaan sa Sagada 'yung bus at wala na kaming energy para tumakbo at makipag-unahan na sumakay ng bus. So had no choice but to wait for the second trip which was at 7 in the morning. We patiently waited and lined ourselves for the second trip. Pero pambihira, habang nag-uumaga sa Sagada mas lumalamig, swear! :( I was literally chilling regardless of having thick jacket embracing me and scarf around my neck, it  wasn't enough. Malamig talaga. I really can't stand the morning dew. :( And so my friends were to the rescue, they kept rubbing my hands to keep me warm and adding more scarf around my neck. *Care bears kung para na akong timang sa hitsura ko. :))*  Jonel kindly lend me her spare rubber shoes and socks. *And I'll be forever thankful* HahaThank you thank you, girls!

We can't fight the urge to sport our shirt! Hey, we survived Sagada! If you've been to Sagada, you'll understand the feeling. After 12 hours of travel, trekking and spelunking, you'll be proud every time you're wearing this shirt!

We survived Sagada!

The experience and lesson learned:

  • Book earlier. Either sa lodge na tutuluyan man or sa bus.
  • Be physically fit. HAHAHA (Mantra namin ito ngayon, ang piliting mag-exercise)
  • Bring meds, paracetamol or pain killer. Believe me malaking tulong.
  • Don't underestimate Sagada, bring thick clothes. Lalo na kung lamigin na kagaya ko. If you can bring warming oil, bring it with you. :)
  • Have enough patience in travelling long hours. And when I mean long hours, it is super loooonggg hours. 12 hours. :)
  • Expect the unexpected. Always!
  • And lastly, don't forget to have FUN. Smile and enjoy your adventure! It is not everyday that nature offers her beauty just right before your eyes. Grab the opportunity and savor the moment! ♥
