Sagada Day 2 Underground River-Bokong Falls

After we saw the magnificent Hanging Coffin, we laboriously walked again towards our next stop, the Underground River. Yay! And in this trek, medyo nahuhuli na ako dahil sa sobrang bagal ko. The trail was slippery because it rained the night before our trek. I wanted to believe that the rain that night was a blessing but I kept slipping and tripping along the way. (I am the living example of Clumsy in Smurf the Movie. My friends will surely agree on this. hahaha) We stayed in Underground River for a few minutes, siyempre picture doon, picture dito ang drama naming lahat. haha. I had only one observation on the cave, may vandal ang wall ng cave. :( People that visits caves or historical places should learn to respect and keep the sanctity of the place. *may papel naman kasi bakit kailangang sa k'weba pa magsulat* After Underground River we headed to Bokong Falls (small falls) where we happily dipped into a 12-foot freaking cold water. ~brrrrrrrrr~ Cold but cool. Hahaha :) Dito halatang enjoy na enjoy na kami kahit malamig ang tubig. whaha (halatang sabik sa falls ang mga babaeng taga-siyudad :P) Actually, we didn't plan on getting wet in here but the water was so inviting and we thought that the experience wasn't complete if we shouldn't test the freezing water. :)

My share of adventure :)

L-R: "Malapit na tayo, girls.", Underground River's entrance, Giddly hopping to those stones.

Sabi nga ng mga Kuyang iisa ang humor: "Smell"

L-R: Maca, Lenlen and Wil (na noon ko lang nalaman ang tunay na pangalan. LOL)

L-R: Czeila, Melai and yours truly, misadventurer.
Bokong Falls (Small Falls). We didn't get the chance to visit Pongas Falls or Bomod-Ok Falls, sayang. :( On the brighter side, maybe God wanted us to come back here and continue our adventure. Yay!

Thumbs up for Bokong Falls.

Dipping to the pool este falls pala.

We bravely climbed the peak of it. :]

I envy them. :( This just grew in their lawns. They're so lovely.

After this we headed back to town proper to ate our lunch. As usual we went straight at Francis Restaurant. Sabi nga namin kay Kuya na may-ari yata ng Francis Restaurant, salamat sa pagbuhay sa amin sa loob ng dalawang araw. =))

Misadventure: As always I kept on falling/tripping/slipping. HAHA. And we only ate sandwich for lunch. Kung kailan spelunking na ang gagawin saka nag-diet ang lahat. hahaha. Piece of advice, if you're doing spelunking huwag gumaya sa amin. Kumain ng heavy lunch to reserve energy. And I think my next post will be way much longer than this. LOL.
