How will you start telling stories about your adventure if you weren't ready to move on and face the reality?
I've been staring at this page too long now, tormenting myself on how I should tell my share of fun in Sagada. Words never come easy because as of this point I am overwhelmed and at the same time in denial that I am now facing the reality. *sobs*
It took us two months to plan this trip, preparing mentally, spiritually but not physically, though. *we underestimated Sagada. LOL* We're all giddy and excited (sorry naman, hindi na ako makatulog dahil dito). It was my first time arranging our itinerary, I am so used in just tagging myself along to most of the trips I've been to. SAGGAs site is so helpful planning your itinerary, you can find almost anything in their site. And if you're planning to go there during peak season be sure to do the reservation in advance on where you would stay. We stayed in Residential Lodge where there's free Arabian coffee that made us all happy. Plus, Tita Mary, the owner was so accommodating. :)
Number of hours it took to reach Sagada: 12. 5 (Manila-Baguio: 6 hours, Baguio-Sagada: 6 hours and a half)
Number of brave adventurer: Seven (Maricar, Czeila, Jonel, Lenlen, Alyssa, Melai)
Number of misadventure: 1 (we didn't book our bus tickets in advance so we had to wait three hours more for another bus. :P)
Welcome to Sagada, Misadventurer! :)
This is where we stay. The owner is very accommodating and so nice. Thank you, Tita Mary for accommodating us!
Upon the arrival. 3:30 pm. Gutom, pagod at hilo pero hindi halata. LOL
In unison: "Ah, kama!" (then all dives in bed) hahaha
Scouting for a place where we can have our late lunch and early dinner. ("Iyong mura lang ha!")
In front of George Guesthouse, photo op lang. :P
Rafy! We all love this dog.
Then we treated ourselves for some yoghurt! We originally wanted to go at Yoghurt House but I can't remember how we landed at this cafe. hahaha. They serve delicious and authentic yoghurt for only 70 pesos. Yum! Yum!
Siyempre picture muna while waiting for our yoghurt!
And again, smile!
And here we were preparing to go to bed. (backstory: to decide on who's going first to take a bath we played, maiba alis. hahaha. Pang-apat ako sa banyo! yay!)
And as we hit the bed we constantly reminding ourselves that we should get up early to watch the sunrise. :) If you've been to Sagada, you will know what I mean. It's hard to get up early at Sagada. Masarap matulog! Hahahaha.
someone is insanely jealous!
